Queensmead School in the United Kingdom is seeking a Design & Technology Technician to support the D&T Department. You will manage workshop resources, operate and maintain equipment, including laser cutting and 3D printing, and assist lessons with hard materials such as woods, metals and plastics.

Experience in an educational environment is advantageous; full training will be provided. The role is 36 hours per week, term time plus one week, with potential for part-time consideration.

Qualificações

• Experience in an educational environment is advantageous.
• Ability to set up, use and maintain workshop equipment.
• Familiarity with laser cutting and 3D printing.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare resources and equipment for lessons, including hard materials.
• Maintain machinery and order supplies for the workshops.
• Support students and staff in the Design & Technology workshops.
• Assist with setup and use of laser cutting and 3D printing projects.
