Marchant Recruitment is assisting a highly regarded secondary school in Wandsworth to recruit a Design Technology Technician. You will work in a well-resourced DT department, preparing practical lessons and supporting students with a broad range of materials and equipment.

You will help maintain workshop facilities, ensure health and safety compliance, and support teachers during KS3/GCSE and A-Level sessions in a modern CAD/CAM environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a DT Technician or similar workshop role.
• Good knowledge of workshop tools and safety procedures.
• Ability to support practical lessons and maintain equipment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare timber, metals, plastics and other materials for lessons.
• Set up and clear away equipment for KS3/GCSE/A-Level sessions.
• Maintain workshop machinery and safety checks (COSHH).
• Assist students and teachers during practical activities.
• Manage stock, order materials and keep resources organized.
