Job description

Kenect Recruitment is recruiting Drivers mates/Porters for our client based in the Washington area.

Our client is offering a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, 7am-7pm, giving you plenty of time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work.

As a Driving Assistant/Porter, you will help create a lasting impression for customers during their delivery experience. Your day will involve delivering recliners, footstools, and navigating a variety of homes. No experience needed – we’ll provide all the training.

Main Duties

• Complete all deliveries to customers’ homes safely and professionally, without causing any damage to furniture or customers’ property.
• Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to ensure they know you’re on the way.
• Ensure furniture is delivered to the room requested by the customer and that we do not leave any rubbish behind.
• Represent the Company values and those of the brand partners in everything you do.
• Work with your team and managers to provide feedback and continually improve the standards of service.
