A leading transportation company in London is seeking a Driver Standards Manager to oversee driver welfare and conduct, coordinate safety management systems, and lead recruitment and training efforts. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, adapt to change easily, and manage records effectively. This role requires being on call as needed, ensuring a responsive and safe rail service. Strong Microsoft Office skills are a must, and prior line management experience is highly desirable.
The Drivers team in the East Region is an exciting place to be. With our new fleet of trains now in service, it's a time of transition and optimism for the future. Paddington Depot is amongst the largest on the GWR Network and makes for a challenging and rewarding work environment. As a Driver Standards Manager, you will find that no two days are the same in this dynamic location. Working in a large team and together with the wider East Region, we will achieve our goals and deliver a fantastic service.

On call hours and “as required,” to suit the needs of the business (on-call AM & PM 7-week roster)
