J Browne Construction is hiring a Driver Operative (7.5 Tonne) to keep civils projects moving across Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The role blends driving with hands-on site support and on-call duties.

You will transport materials and assist with on-site works, ensuring safety and compliance. AFull UK licence with C1 and Driver CPC are required, with a strong safety focus and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience driving and operating 7.5 tonne vehicles (tippers)
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with C1 entitlement
• Must have Driver CPC qualification
• Strong focus on health and safety and safe practices
• Reliable, proactive and able to work well in a team
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions

Responsabilités

• Transport materials, equipment and waste between sites
• Support on-site activities and site teams
• Assist with excavation and utility-related tasks as required
• Participate in a call-out rota for out-of-hours support
