Job summary

Browne Construction is seeking a reliable Driver Operative (3.5 Tonne) to support civils and utility projects across multiple sites in the region. You will transport materials, assist with excavation works, and help maintain safe, well‑organised sites while adhering to health and safety standards.

A DBS check and occasional out‑of‑hours work may be required. The role requires a full, clean UK driving licence, practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, and a proactive, flexible approach to site

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Experience driving up to 3.5 tonnes (incl. tipper).
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong work ethic with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and equipment between sites.
• Support excavation and utility works on civils sites.
• Keep work areas safe, tidy and organised; maintain vehicles.
• Load and unload vehicles; dispose of waste to approved sites.
• Assist with site set-up and daily operational activities.
• Contribute to a strong health and safety culture.
