Job summary

Browne Group is seeking a Driver Operative (7.5 Tonne) to join our Civils team across Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. You will drive 7.5t vehicles and support on-site civils works, helping keep essential infrastructure projects on track.

You will work closely with Supervisors and site teams, maintaining safety and efficiency, with a duty rota for out-of-hours operations as required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles, including 7.5 tonne tippers.
• Strong focus on health and safety and safe working practices.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, equipment and waste between sites.
• Support excavation and utility-related activities on-site.
• Maintain safe, organised and compliant working environments.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment to high standards.
• Participate in a call-out rota to support out-of-hours operations.
