Job summary

Browne Construction is seeking a reliable Driver Operative (7.5 Tonne) to join our Civils team, delivering materials, equipment and waste between sites and providing hands-on on-site support on projects across Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

You will work with site teams, assist with excavation and utility tasks, maintain vehicles to high standards and participate in a call-out rota for out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Experience driving and operating commercial vehicles including 7.5 tonne tippers.
• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Strong focus on health and safety and safe working practices.
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, equipment and waste between sites.
• Provide hands-on site support and assist with excavation and utility tasks.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are operated and maintained to high standards.
• Participate in a call-out rota to support out-of-hours requirements.
