Job summary

Wolseley Group in Measham is seeking a full-time HGV Driver (18T) to join our delivery team. You will deliver items across routes, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

The role requires a Class 2 HGV licence, CPC, and familiarity with tachographs. Daily vehicle checks, health and safety adherence, and teamwork with transport staff are essential. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 HGV licence.

• Experience with handheld devices or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and Wolseley suppliers.
• Carrying out daily vehicle, equipment and load checks and reporting defects (H&S).
• Working with transport team and administration.
• Unloading/loading at customer premises when required.

As a HGV Driver based in Measham you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required
  

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday

• A full, Class 2 HGV licence
