Job summary

Wolseley is hiring a Driver HGV 32T for night shifts in East End, Hampshire. Start date 2026-09-11. You will deliver items to various addresses, manage routes, and maintain excellent customer service while upholding safety standards and vehicle checks.

The role requires a Class 1 HGV licence, tachographs knowledge, Driver CPC, and familiarity with handheld devices. You will work with the transport team and handle loading/unloading as needed.

Qualifications

• A full, Class 1 HGV licence.
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital tachographs.
• Driver CPC.
• Experience of using, or willingness to learn, digital technology such as handheld devices.
• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
• Offering excellent customer service at all times.
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, ensuring they are positive ambassadors of the Wolseley brand.
• Ensuring all aspects of health and safety are adhered to, including daily checks on the vehicle, equipment, and load, and reporting any defects.
• Working well within the transport team, including the driving team and transport administration.
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on the night shift.
