Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited is seeking a full-time HGV Driver for Measham. You will deliver materials to building sites, handle loading and unloading, and ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining excellent customer service for on-site plumbers.

The role is 45 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with no weekend work. A Class 2 license and CPC training are preferred, and you will join a leading plumbing and heating trade specialist with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous HGV driving experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
• Class 2 license required; CPC training completed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering materials to building sites, including handballing (loading and unloading vehicles).
• Ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.
• Providing exceptional customer service when dealing with plumbers on-site.
• Calling into the office with any delivery issues, keeping the transport team up to date.

As a HGV Driver based in Measham you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering materials to building sites, including handballing (loading and unloading vehicles
• Ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently
• Providing exceptional customer service when dealing with plumbers on-site
• Calling into the office with any delivery issues, keeping the transport team up to date

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday. No weekend working!

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Previous HGV driving experience
• Excellent communication skills and to be able to build strong relationships with customers
• A class 2 license
• A digital taco card and to have completed your CPC training
