Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking a Delivery Driver (32T) to join our transport team. You will deliver a wide range of items to customer addresses, maintaining professional customer service and ensuring on-time delivery.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with a full-time contract, Driver CPC and Class 1 HGV licence required, plus experience with tachographs and handheld devices. We offer a competitive salary, bonus potential and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a full Class 1 HGV licence.
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital tachographs.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Comfortable with learning/digital handheld devices.
• Confident interacting with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and represent Wolseley positively.
• Adhere to Health and Safety, perform daily vehicle/equipment/load checks and report defects.
• Collaborate within the transport team, including driving team and transport admin.
• Unload/load at customers' premises when required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
