Job summary

Veolia Group in Croydon is looking for a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing UK fleet. The role offers a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, AM shift with a pay of £36,878.40 per year, and a range of employee benefits.

You will drive to planned and ad-hoc collection locations, use a tablet to manage jobs, perform vehicle checks, input information into the onboard system, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and up to date while respecting road traffic laws.

Qualifications

• Essential: Cat C (Class 2) licence and up-to-date CPC.
• Must have Digi/Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned and ad-hoc collection locations, collecting bags and bins.
• Using a tablet to receive and manage jobs.
• Lifting/pulling items of all weights and sizes.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle and keeping paperwork up to date.
• Complying with traffic laws and ensuring loads are secure.
