Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a driver in Norwich to support waste collection operations. The role involves driving to planned locations, moving and emptying waste containers, and maintaining vehicle checks.

A Class 2 licence and up-to-date CPC/Digi card are essential, with waste management experience preferred. The position requires a 48-hour workweek, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, and provides generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence is essential.
• CPC / Digi card up to date.
• Waste Management experience preferred.
• Strong time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move and empty multiple waste containers.
• Lift bins of all weights and sizes.
• Complete daily vehicle checks per operator handbook.
• Ensure information is input into onboard system and paperwork is kept up to date.
