Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our Portsmouth team. You will drive to collection locations, move waste containers and perform daily vehicle checks, while ensuring paperwork is up to date and logs are accurate.

The role operates mainly Monday to Friday with Saturday rotation and involves early start times. We offer a substantial salary up to £50,000 OTE (including £39,835.85 per annum) plus Veolia benefits, meal allowances, pension and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digi card.
• Desirable: previous waste management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and empty multiple waste containers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks as per operator handbook.
• Record information in onboard system and maintain paperwork.
• Comply with traffic laws and ensure loads are secure and clean up spills.
