Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Tail Lift driver in Exeter (EX2 8RF) to support our waste management operations. The role is 48 hours per week, Mon-Fri with 06:00 starts, and occasional weekend work. You will drive and collect following Veolia procedures, perform daily vehicle checks, maintain logs, and comply with safety policies.

Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) licence, up-to-date CPC/Digi card, and a can-do attitude with strong time management. Desirable: prior Waste Management experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• Up-to-date CPC / Digi card.
• Desirable: experience in Waste Management.

Responsibilities

• Driving and carrying out collections following Veolia procedures.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle and recording defects as required.
• Ensuring all daily logs are kept up to date.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation.
• Lifting bins of all weights and sizes, so you're always on the go.
