Job description
The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive drainage works across residential and commercial properties, including investigations, locating, diagnosing, unblocking, repairs and reporting of issues quickly and effectively, in order to keep drainage systems in optimal condition.

You’ll operate jetting and CCTV survey equipment, diagnose faults, complete high-quality repairs, and deliver excellent customer service while working safely and efficiently. Professionalism and a keen eye for details are essential!

Minimum Requirements
  • Must reside within 1-hour travel from Fulham, SW London area.
  • A clean, full driving licence is essential.
  • More than 4 years of proven experience in drainage.
  • Experience in structural repairs, e.g. patching and lining.
  • Experience using drainage CCTV cameras to identity issues in the drainage systems, including mapping.
  • Knowledge of Scanprobe cameras and Mina software would be ideal.
  • You must be able to produce basic drawings of sites that show all draining connectivity.
  • Some sales background in relation to drainage remedial works would be beneficial.
  • CSCS card or relevant health & safety training is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills essential.
  • Must have exceptional punctuality and attendance.
  • Highly motivated and able to work on their own as well as part of a team.
  • We are looking for an individual who is attentive, assertive, driven and able to manage their time and responsibilities effectively.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for investigating our customers drainage problems to locate and diagnose any issues or faults in the system and will be required to carry out the necessary remedial works.
  • This means that you should have a good technical and practical knowledge of drainage repairs.
  • Determine whether any issues come as a result of a blockage or leak.
  • Drive throughout London in order to produce on site drainage investigations.
  • Conduct CCTV drainage surveys and inspections using specialist equipment to identity issues in the drainage system, and produce clear reports.
  • Produce basic drawings of sites that show all draining connectivity.
  • Identify and report on drainage defects such as cracks, root ingress, or collapsed pipes.
  • Recommend and deliver remedial works: patch lining, point repairs, root removal, descaling, and pipe desilt / clean.
  • Operate and maintain drainage equipment including high-pressure water jetting units and CCTV survey cameras.
  • Support excavation and reinstatement works (minor civils) where required, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Complete risk assessments and dynamic point-of-work safety checks.
  • Accurately record job notes, photos, materials and time; maintain van stock and equipment.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to customers, the office team and site managers.
  • Tracing and locating drainage systems and underground pipework.
  • Respond to emergency and reactive callouts as part of a team.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working condition.
