Mobile Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineer

Location: South West - Based in either Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester or Oxford

Salary: Around £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer‑focused Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our mobile maintenance team, covering the South West region (Bristol, Swindon, and Gloucester). You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and reactive repair of domestic gas systems across a range of residential properties. This role involves working both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
  • Undertake reactive repairs and diagnostics on a range of gas boilers, fires, and heating equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Gas Safe and company standards.
  • Complete job sheets, reports, and certification accurately and on time.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring tenants and clients are kept informed of work progress.
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours rota (if applicable).
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to high standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualifications
  • Current ACS Domestic Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
  • Proven experience in domestic gas service and repair.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Desirable Qualifications
  • LPG or Oil experience.
  • Unvented hot water (G3) qualification.
  • Experience working on social housing or contract maintenance.
