Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Housekeeper at a Poole, Dorset care home. The role involves cleaning communal areas, domestic tasks in residents' bedrooms, collaborating with the home management team to maintain hygiene standards, and providing companionship to residents.

The position is 42 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with a salary of £12.72 per hour. Training up to QCF level 5 may be funded, and there are additional benefits offered by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Communal cleaning – ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
• Domestic tasks - dust, polish and vacuum residents’ bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
• Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Companionship- Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
