Join Our Team as a Domestic Assistant

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join the Medirest team, providing outstanding cleaning services for patients, visitors, and staff at the hospital.

Your Role

• Perform high and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
• Clean wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected, and public areas.
• Manage rubbish bins, ensuring they are maintained and emptied when full.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation in all areas, following policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely, adhering to all Health & Safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Passionate about patient care with effective communication skills with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to meet the needs of the hospital.
• Comfortable working in a hospital environment, understanding that you may encounter unwell or distressed patients.
• No previous experience as a Domestic Assistant is required; pride in your work and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
• This position is subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check; costs covered by the employer.
