Role Overview: As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in infection control, helping the hospital operate smoothly and deliver essential medical services. This is more than just cleaning; it's a position that truly makes a difference.

Shift Pattern

5 out of 7 days

Responsibilities

1. High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
2. Cleaning wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
3. Maintaining and emptying rubbish bins.
4. Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe, following hospital policies and procedures.
5. Using equipment safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

1. Passionate about patient care with effective communication skills.
2. Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach.
3. Comfortable working in a hospital environment, aware of contact with unwell or distressed patients.
4. No previous experience as a Domestic Assistant is required; pride in your work and willingness to learn are most important.
5. This position requires a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs covered by the employer.
