Join Our Superdrug Pharmacy Team

We welcome applications from qualified dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Romsey
Hours: 16 hours
Shifts: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & 1 Saturday every 4 weeks (Monday off when working Saturday).
Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour depending on pharmacy qualifications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising
• For those joining us as a trainee pharmacy assistant you will be learning on the job and undertaking a Healthcare Assistant course as well as progressing towards a nationally recognised Level 2 NVQ in Dispensing.

We’re Looking For

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service.
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Confidence to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services.
