Job summary
Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) invites applications for a Band 3 Disclosures Officer based at St Nicholas Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne. This permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week) focuses on processing disclosure requests, applying Data Protection standards and liaising with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
- Essential: Admin/Health/Law/Business background or 2 years in an office environment.
- RSA II or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent experience.
- Desirable: Qualification in Data Protection.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge receipt of requests and collate information.
- Identify third party data and/or any contentious information.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and requestor; prepare records for disclosure including redaction as directed.
- Provide support to Trust employees, service users, carers, and external organisations regarding confidentiality and information sharing.
- Cross cover as needed to the Records Department.
