We are the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are seeking a Band 3 Disclosures Officer to join the Disclosures Team at St Nicholas Hospital.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a focus on data protection and information disclosure processes. The ideal candidate will have NHS experience, strong IT skills, knowledge of DPA/GDPR/FoIA and RiO, and be able to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality

Qualifications

• Background in Administration, Business, Law, Health or Social Work or 2 years in an office environment.
• RSA II or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent experience
• Qualification in Data Protection
• Experience of working in the NHS environment

Responsabilités

• Acknowledge receipt of requests and collate information for disclosure.
• Identify third party information and liaise with healthcare professionals for disclosure.
• Prepare records for disclosure including redaction as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Provide support to Trust employees and external organisations regarding confidentiality and information sharing.
• Provide cross cover to the Records Department.
