Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Director, Site Development Strategy to join our Iron Mountain Data Centres team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading land and power acquisition efforts, identifying and securing future data center sites, and ensuring long-term energy strategy and regulatory compliance across the region. You will join a high-impact team dedicated to expanding our global footprint through sustainable innovation and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will :

  • Lead Regional Expansion Strategy : Develop and execute the site development strategy across key Europe, Middle East, and Africa markets by sourcing land acquisition opportunities through brokers, developers, and local stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on Energy & Infrastructure : Partner with utility providers and internal stakeholders to lead energy procurement initiatives, securing power availability and delivery timelines to support infrastructure growth.
  • Ensure Regulatory & Sustainability Compliance : Manage zoning, entitlements, and permitting processes while ensuring all development projects align with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals and organizational standards.
