Job summary

A national level NGO in the UK is looking for a candidate to supervise the implementation of its operations, develop strategies for quality programs, and expand Microfinance activities. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, experience in resource optimization, and a commitment to working with marginalized communities. Responsibilities include preparing financial plans, providing strategic management support, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the implementation of activities in Zones, Regions, Areas & Branches.
  • Optimize utilization of human resources and funds.
  • Prepare and finalize the financial annual business plan.
  • Ensure overall achievement in line with the business plan.
  • Develop and update strategies for program quality.
  • Provide management support for strategic decisions.
  • Guide resolution of field problems.
  • Support expansion of Microfinance operations.
  • Train and develop staff for the Microfinance program.
  • Prepare long-term plans based on SWOT analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with various requirements.
  • Resolve staff conflicts and evaluate personnel.
  • Conduct field visits at least 80% of the working days.
  • Perform tasks assigned by management.

  • SETU is a national level NGO working in the fields of micro finance, education, water & sanitation, health, youth animation, elimination of child labor, climate change, disability and development etc. for 42 years. For details please visit www.setu.ngo
  • The organization presently serving 2.00 lac households in 14 districts. Micro finance program of SETU is being financed by PKSF and Financial Institutes. Applications are invited from the candidates for the above-mentioned post who are willing to work at grass root level with marginalized people through ensuring qualitative status of program.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the proper implementation of the overall activities of the responsible Zone, Regions, Areas & Branches;
  • Skill of optimum utilization of human resources and funds;
  • Prepare the financial annual business plan and finalize it after discussion with the authority;
  • Ensure overall achievement in line with the annual business plan and adopt strategies to comply with the changing circumstances;
  • Develop and update different strategies and policies for ensuring the quality of program;
  • Analyze different situations in fields and provide support to the management to take strategic decisions;
  • Analyze different problems raised in the field and provide an effective guideline for resolving the problems;
  • Ensure necessary support for the expansion of Microfinance operations at the field level;
  • Develop staff for operating the Microfinance program through training, orientation, knowledge sharing, motivation, mentoring etc.;
  • Prepare branch-wise long-term plan & target for ensuring the development of the program by analyzing the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats;
  • Ensure sound communication and transparent compliance according to the requirements of GO's, NGOs regulators, donors, financing agencies/organizations and partners etc.;
  • Take administrative actions when necessary, Identify staff conflicts and take initiatives to resolve those;
  • Assist the management to evaluate staff involved in the operation;
  • Undertake field visits at least 80 % of the working days;
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the management;
