Job summary

Kent Fire and Rescue Service in Maidstone seeks a Digital Workplace Manager (Grade 9) on an 18-month fixed-term contract. The role leads EUC, MS 365/SharePoint, and workplace AI, with hybrid working and a 37-hour week.

You will own the strategy, roadmap and service delivery, reporting to the Head of IT, and contribute to a secure, modern digital workplace for colleagues across the service.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
• Desirable: Microsoft 365, EUC Management and AI qualifications.
• Knowledge of digital workplace strategies and modern end-user computing.
• Experience leading digital workplace services and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own Digital Workplace services including quality and lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain strategy, roadmap and backlog.
• Lead EUC, SharePoint and IT Training capabilities.
• Drive workplace AI adoption and measurable value.
• Ensure security, supportability and adoption of new technologies.
• Manage workplace technology products, licensing and risks.
• Collaborate with IT teams to align initiatives and deliver value.
