Job description

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Digital Product Manager. This role is key to ensuring that the digital tools our engineers need to design and deliver Airbus products are always the best fit for their needs, are reliable, secure and perform well in collaboration with the whole Information Management environment. You will have the chance to see the whole lifecycle: developing new products and services with the latest technologies, operating them to meet the business needs and decommissioning as technology moves on. Some of the important aspects of this role are:

Responsibilities
  • Working with a multi-skilled team of business and IM engineers
  • Being responsible for Continuous Release Management
  • Collaboration with the end users to ensure solutions are the best they can be
  • Collaboration with the rest of the Information Management team to be certain the service runs smoothly, safely and securely to fit the business expectation
  • Go‑to‑market of the products and services including helping users get the best from the IT products
  • Knowing and applying the Information Management standards for product delivery (ITIL and CMMI)
  • Developing your understanding of Information Management project methodologies that ensure new and upgraded applications and services can be continuously delivered to the business in order to enable exciting new possibilities
Eligibility & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 96 UCAS points made up of 3 A levels at C or above or equivalent subject to validation
  • GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths and English Language
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
  • The ability to be self‑aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development
  • Awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth
