Job summary

Yell is expanding its Field Sales team and seeking ambitious Business Development Managers to drive growth across the UK. You will prospect new clients, tailor digital marketing solutions, and close deals while sustaining long-term client relationships for up to a year after sale.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in sales (Field Sales or High Performing Telesales)
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Resilience and a positive outlook in overcoming objections
• Excellent presentation skills—verbal and written
• Experience in solution selling or SaaS (desirable)
• A full UK driving license is required with no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Hunting for New Business: Proactively prospecting through self-sourced and company-provided leads to open doors to new clients.
• Tailoring Solutions: Engage in face-to-face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and offer tailored digital marketing solutions.
• Closing Deals: Present, negotiate, and seal the deal with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth.
• Client Management: Nurture relationships and provide seamless account management for up to 12 months post-sale.
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth reviews to identify opportunities for growth and boost client ROI.
