Job summary

HSBC Group is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver outstanding customer service, educate customers on digital channels, and promote fraud awareness for financial inclusion. You’ll be the first contact in the branch, handling inquiries and delivering a personalised, friendly experience.

You’ll receive full in-branch training, work 35 hours weekly (Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 and Sat 09:00-13:30), with an attractive starting salary and discretionary annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous Customer Service experience is helpful but not essential.
• Ability to hold a conversation and go above and beyond for customers.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers in branch and deliver an exceptional experience.
• Educate customers about HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.
• Identify vulnerable customers and determine the best support.
• Assist customers with more complex banking needs and ensure they feel supported.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and empathy in conversations.
• Own customer inquiries through to resolution with a personalised service.
• Adapt to a changing environment.
