Job summary

HSBC Group in Bournemouth invites applications for a Universal Banker to deliver outstanding service, educate customers on digital platforms, and promote financial inclusion. You will be the first point of contact in branches, addressing needs and guiding customers through choices with empathy.

This full-time role (35 hours weekly, Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00, Sat 09:00-13:30) includes full training and opportunities to support nearby branches as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience; ability to assist diverse customers.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Awareness of fraud prevention and digital banking basics.
• Empathetic approach to customers with varying needs.
• Ability to educate users on digital platforms.
• Commitment to financial inclusion and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and deliver an outstanding service.
• Educate customers on HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.
• Identify vulnerable customers and determine appropriate support.
• Assist customers with more complex banking needs and ensure a smooth experience.
• Work 35 hours per week Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 and Sat 09:00-13:30; may support other branches.
• Complete in-branch training and the Customer Service Consultant course.
