Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using modern diagnostic tools.
  • Confident working independently and supporting others when required.
  • Committed to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out advanced diagnostic work and complex repairs.
  • Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
  • Support and guide junior technicians with technical queries.
  • Perform vehicle health checks and ensure all documentation is accurate.
  • Maintain high workshop standards and promote a positive team culture.

Job description

Diagnostic Technician

Salary : Up to 38,000 basic + 50,000 OTE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm 1 in 4 Saturdays on rota, paid as overtime

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
