Job summary

Marshall Honda Peterborough is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join the aftersales team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including EV work if qualified, and working to manufacturer standards in a busy 16-bay workshop.

Expect a competitive package with a base salary of £40,805 plus uncapped OTE up to around £44,000. The position is full-time, 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis, with generous leave and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic preferred.
• Qualified to perform diagnostic and repair work including EV tasks where applicable.
• Ability to work to manufacturer standards and safety procedures.

• Carry out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
• You’ll use your expertise in diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve hard to find issues.
• You’ll assist Apprentice Technicians with development where needed.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a minimum of a Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance, and a recognised Diagnostic qualification
• Someone with previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic ideally, but if just brand qualified we will consider your application!
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Most importantly, someone with a desire to progress with us, as we will commit to supporting and developing you with constant manufacturer training to keep on top of the latest technologies and EV requirements!
