Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Southampton is seeking an MOT Tester to join its busy 14-bay workshop. Based in a team of experienced technicians, you will perform MOT testing and vehicle diagnostics in a premium brand environment. Off-site parking is available and progressive training is provided.

The role offers a basic salary of £35,747 with OTE £42,000 uncapped, and a work pattern Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30 with 1 in 4 Saturdays 08:00–13:00. This is a full-time position in Southampton.

Qualifications

• MOT Tester Licence required.
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Based in our 14-bayworkshop, you'll work alongside twoMaster Technicians, a Diagnostic Technician and a team of experienced ServiceTechnicians, drawing on a wealth of Mercedes-Benz knowledge with teammembers bringing 15 to 40 years of experience. Supported by the Mercedes-BenzUK training pathway and ongoing in-housedevelopment, you'll have excellent opportunities to enhance your skillsand develop your career.

What We're Looking For

• MOT Tester Licence
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
