Job summary

Marshall Motor Group is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our service team. You will perform diagnostic, warranty and repair work across multiple brands, including EV tasks where qualified, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with a recognised diagnostic qualification and show strong teamwork. We offer extensive manufacturer training and a clear path for career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Diagnostic qualification required.
• Experience as a Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Perform EV work and hydraulic repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Assist Apprentice Technicians with development.
• Work with diagnostic tools and software to locate faults.

Job description

• You'll carry out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You'll complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
• You'll use your expertise in diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve hard to find issues.
• You'll assist Apprentice Technicians with development where needed.

Someone with a minimum of a Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance, and a recognised Diagnostic qualification.

Someone with previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic ideally, but if just brand qualified we will consider your application!

Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
