Job summary

Marshall BYD Canterbury is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our aftersales team. You\u2019ll perform servicing, diagnostic work, warranty and repair tasks across a range of vehicles, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and manufacturer training.

You will work with a friendly team in a role that supports career development through accreditation training and ongoing brand qualifications, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic.
• MOT Licence is advantageous.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostics, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, with digital write-ups and job card completion.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.


• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).


• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.


• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
