Job summary

Marshall Skoda Oxford is seeking a skilled Master Technician to join the high-performing aftersales team in Oxford. You will handle diagnostic, maintenance and repair work, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards and mentoring colleagues.

This full-time role offers a competitive basic salary of £49,439 with an uncapped OTE around £59,750, plus generous leave, life assurance, pension and exclusive employee perks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master Technician Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience with complex diagnostic and servicing work, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong teamwork and a willingness to mentor others in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, diagnostic, warranty and repair work on vehicles.
• Perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Support less skilled Technicians and guide them to be efficient.

At Marshall Skoda Oxford, we're offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Master Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. This is a pivotal role in the workshop, due to the level of expertise and knowledge required to solve the most complex issues at the highest standards.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out a range of maintenance work on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll complete mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
• You’ll support the less skilled Technicians in diagnosing all types of issues, guiding them on being highly efficient.

We're looking for:

• Someone qualified as a Master Technician Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with exposure to both complex diagnostic and servicing work, with experience in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Most importantly, someone with a mentor mindset, happy to share their knowledge and expertise with the workshop.
