Job summary

Marshall Skoda Nottingham is offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. We’ll support your growth with state-of-the-art facilities, a friendly team and manufacturer training that keeps you on top of your game.

You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work, and you’ll complete digital write-ups and job cards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Service Technician/Mechanic with warranty/servicing experience
• Customer-centric, can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a team and follow processes with high safety/quality standards
• MOT Licence a plus (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

Job description

• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus - full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
