Job summary

Marshall Honda Blackburn is seeking a skilled PDI Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. The role focuses on Pre Delivery Inspections and essential maintenance using state-of-the-art tools and manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Opportunity to upgrade from Level 2 to Level 3 accreditation.
• Previous Technician/Mechanic experience, PDIs and basic service work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on fleet and customer vehicles.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes with digital write-ups.
• Ensure vehicles are compliant and safe for customer delivery.

Job description

Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.

• Someone with a recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If you're Level 2, we can look at opportunities for you to become Level 3 accredited
• Someone with previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to PDIs and basic service work, from any background.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on both fleet and customer vehicles
• You’ll handle vehicle maintenance tasks like oil and filter changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll ensure every vehicle that you work on is fully compliant and safe, ready for customer delivery,
