Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician / Auto Mechanic for their Coventry area workshop. You will diagnose faults, perform major engine and drivetrain overhauls, and conduct pre-MOT safety checks on a range of vehicle marques to high standards.

The role requires NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent), advanced diagnostic skills, and a UK driving licence with your own hand tools. A DVSA MOT Tester card is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served background).
• Advanced diagnostic fault-finding capabilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Execute deep-level diagnostic fault finding across a variety of marques.
• Perform major engine and drivetrain overhauls and routine servicing.
• Carry out pre-MOT safety evaluations and other maintenance to specialist standards.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + technical performance incentives
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair team rota basis

Role Overview

Requirements
