Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Warwick is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Heavy Mechanical Specialist to join our technical crew. You will handle complex engine component renewals, drivetrain overhauls, diagnostic fault isolation, and full-vehicle health checks across a diverse mix of prestige and daily passenger cars.

The role requires NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, strong mechanical teardown experience, and a full UK driving licence with own tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong experience with complex mechanical teardowns and fault finding.
• DVSA Class 4 MOT tester license is an advantage but not required.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine component renewals and drivetrain overhauls.
• Conduct diagnostic fault isolation and full-vehicle health checks.
• Work across a mix of prestige and daily passenger cars.
• Ensure quality workmanship in a clean, focused workshop.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + quality craftsmanship bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule (No mandatory weekend shifts)

• Solid background in complex mechanical teardowns, engine maintenance, and systematic fault finding.
• Active DVSA Class 4 MOT Tester licence is an advantage for salary placement, but non-essential.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
