Hawk Hiring LTD in Leicester is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Specialist to join our expanding technical team. You will be responsible for deep-level diagnostics, heavy mechanical overhauls, pre-MOT safety checks, and routine manufacturer-level servicing across various customer vehicles.

The role requires NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent, a strong diagnostic mindset, and a valid UK driving licence with own tools. MOT tester status is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or time-served background.
• Strong diagnostic and heavy mechanical repair skills.
• DVSA MOT Tester licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-level diagnostic fault isolation across multiple systems.
• Carry out heavy mechanical overhauls and component replacements.
• Conduct pre-MOT safety evaluations and routine servicing per manufacturer standards.
• Work on a variety of customer vehicles in a multi-brand environment.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + workshop efficiency bonus scheme
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair team rota basis
