Job summary

A leading industrial company in Manchester is seeking an Industrial Engineer Supervisor to assess and implement manufacturing process changes for chromatography products. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing context, along with strong project management skills. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to enhance cost, quality, and safety in production processes. This role also involves management of product structure within the ERP system and implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma techniques.
• Project Management experience including budgeting, costing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality groups to improve processes.

Job Description

• The Industrial Engineer Supervisor will work with the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality groups to assess and implement changes in the manufacturing processes for chromatography products to improve cost, quality, and safety.
• This position will also serve as the primary control point for product structure in the ERP system.
• This will be heavily project based and project management skills will be critical.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE :

• 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (IFS is a huge plus)
• Experience with creating work centers, BOM, and routes within ERP systems
• Experience with cost accounting or product costing within ERP system
• Experience with supply chain systems within ERP system
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma techniques
• Project Management experience including budgeting, costing, and scheduling
• BS in Engineering

NICE TO HAVE :

• Experience with implementing ERP systems
• Experience with multiple ERP systems
• PMP Certification
