Job summary

Pertemps Plymouth in Devon is seeking an IT Support Technician to join a small, friendly team. The role focuses on hands-on technical work and customer support, with a varied daily workload across hardware, software and cloud-based systems.

An ASAP start is available, with a Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm schedule and on-site parking in Marsh Mills, Plymouth. The role offers exposure to a range of technologies, including Azure cloud services, and involves training customers, installing gear, and

Qualifications

Experience in IT support or IT technician role.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience configuring hardware, software and devices.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Full driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide 1st-3rd line technical support via phone, email, remote access and Teams.
Set up, configure and troubleshoot IT equipment and software.
Support Microsoft Azure and cloud-based solutions.
Assist customers with installations, updates and technical queries.
Deliver customer training and support.
Testing, maintaining and preparing devices for deployment.
Supporting networking, connectivity and system integration projects.
