Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a large infrastructure client in recruiting a Desktop Support Analyst based in West Bridgford. The role is full-time and permanent with an option to work from home one day per week.

Responsibilities include first-line hardware, software and network support, desktop configuration, and collaboration with the tech team on upgrades. The candidate should be able to communicate technical details clearly and maintain IT security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Defender and security practices.
• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems and common applications.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical info to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist users with technical queries and resolve them promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain desktop systems and applications.
• Monitor and manage IT equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with the technology team for system upgrades and improvements.
• Document and update technical support procedures.
• Ensure security protocols are followed on all devices.
• Support remote users with connectivity and access issues.
