Job summary

Crawford & Company in the United Kingdom is seeking an investigator to carry out desktop investigations and complete Investigative Telephone Interviews (COI). You will manage a caseload within client SLAs, and investigate loss and/or damage claims in detail, providing advice to policyholders and managing expectations.

You will maintain files to Crawford standards, validate policy cover, and provide regular updates to Technicians, Insurers and Branches.

Qualifications

• Manage a caseload within client SLA’s.
• Achieve financial targets and support team members to meet SLA’s.
• Ensure activities improve service quality for clients.
• Maintain accurate records and complete tasks within SLA.

Responsibilities

• Complete appointments within SLA after pre-visit enquiries.
• Investigate loss and/or damage claims in detail using all sources and advise policyholders.
• Maintain files to Crawford standard documents; reproduce electronic and paper files.
• Validate policy cover and advise on indemnity, liability and quantum.
• Provide regular updates to Technicians, Insurers and Branches per processes.
• MI reporting and awareness of Business Continuity program.
• Demonstrate knowledge of FSA procedures and TCF initiative.
• Pursue personal development and training.
