Job summary

Crawford & Company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced professional to assess business interruption and financial claims on behalf of clients. You will work both externally and internally, liaising with insurers, reinsurers, claimants and the insured.

The role requires reviewing financial information, preparing detailed reports and contributing to client relationships within the wider GTS team. Travel to site visits and external meetings is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess business interruption and financial claims externally and internally.
• Receive, review and analyse financial information.
• Prepare reports detailing review conclusions of analytical work.
• Visit insurers, reinsurers, claimants and the insured.
• Communicate with all interested parties, calculate and approve interim payments.
• Prepare interim reports and other communications.
• Calculate and agree settlements of claims, prepare final reports.
• Develop less experienced staff members.
• Develop relationships with existing clients and plan approaches to new clients.
• Maintain and update files and records on legal or technical changes relevant to cases.
