Job summary

Crawford & Company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant to lead business interruption and related financial claim reviews, delivering detailed analyses and final reports. You will visit clients and insurers, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure accurate settlements and comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess business interruption and financial claims externally and internally
• Receive, review and analyse financial information
• Prepare reports detailing review conclusions
• Visit insurers, reinsurers, claimants and insureds
• Communicate with all parties, calculate and approve interim payments, and prepare interim reports
• Calculate and agree settlements and prepare final reports
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Maintain up-to-date files on technical or legal changes affecting cases
• Develop opportunities for self and team
