Aviva in Sheffield is seeking a Desk Based Loss Adjuster to own household claims from instruction to settlement, focusing on cost-effective reinstatement and exceptional customer service. The role blends desk-based work with collaboration with field colleagues and suppliers.

You will handle claims up to £50,000, require building pathology knowledge, and manage relationships with customers and contractors. This is a hybrid role with office time required each week.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering loss adjusting for residential claims.
• Knowledge of building standards and reinstatement techniques.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage claims end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Manage household claims up to £50,000, taking full ownership from instruction through to settlement.
• Interpret scope of works using photos, video and remote tools, coordinating with field-based colleagues and suppliers.
• Proactively manage claims with a focus on cost-effectiveness and customer service.
