Aviva in Glasgow is seeking a Desk Based Loss Adjuster to own household claims up to £50,000, delivering cost-effective, customer-focused resolutions. You’ll work virtually with a field-inspection network, interpreting scopes and coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve timely settlements.

The role blends desk-based analysis with on-site guidance, requiring strong empathy, building pathology knowledge, and solid project management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated empathy and communication when delivering difficult news
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders (customers, suppliers, field colleagues)
• Ability to interpret and challenge scopes and schedules from photos/video/remotely

Responsibilities

• Owns claims end-to-end from instruction to settlement for household claims up to £50,000
• Manage building-related damages caused by EOW, fire, flood, etc.
• Coordinate with field-based colleagues and supplier network to deliver timely outcomes
